Toronto Raptors Win the 2019 NBA Finals!
I am an NBA fan and the Toronto Raptors are my favorite team because I was born in Toronto. The Toronto Raptors have been a very good team overall in the NBA and had made 10 playoffs since 2000 up to 2019. During some of those those years that they made the playoffs, they were able to reach the semi-conference playoffs 3 times and reach conference finals 1 time. In 2019, however they were able to win the NBA finals against the Golden State Warriors. One of the reasons, I beleive we won was because of our great roster.
The NBA finals consist of 7 games. We had made it to Game 7. We had a very good roster for Offense and Defense. One of the new players we had acquired in 2018 was Kawhi Leonard. He played a big role in leading the Raptors to the NBA Finals Championship in 2019. In addition to that, we had good players on offense such as Kyle Lowry, Norman Powell, Fred Vanvleet, etc. For defense, we had Pascal Siakam, Serge Ibaka, Jonas Valnciunas, etc. In game 7, Kawhi Leonard scored 41 points and made the game winning shot which put the score from 89-90 to 92-90 with the Raptors winning the finals.
